Common questions
- Can guests give to a charity instead?
- Yes. You can add a charity as one of your giving choices with a short note explaining why it matters to you. In this prototype the charity option links out to the charity's own website.
- What if someone would rather just give cash?
- Keep the “A gift for us” option on your page. It's often the most-used choice, and nobody has to explain themselves.
- Is there a public list of who gave what?
- No. Amounts and names are shown to you, not to your guests. A page can show overall progress towards a goal, and nothing more.
- Are payments live?
- Not in this prototype. Nothing is charged and no card details are collected anywhere in the product. Secure payment processing will be connected before launch.
